Sleep, Sleep, Sleep!

This piece of advice bears repeating. Sleeping will help you reach the balance that can be lost due to endurance training. Note that lack of sleep greatly increases cortisol levels. So you must make it a point to sleep for at least 8 hours a day and avoid staying up late. The later you stay up, the more your cortisol levels will rise. You must hit the bed as early as possible and sleep into the day. Getting up at 9 am is ideal as your body will have had a proper rest and your cortisol levels will have gone down.
